My daughter and I have trained Kimura Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Boca Raton for nearly 5 years. It has been a wonderful time of growth for both of us. We have become more confident and are part of a community that cares for us. Our passion for the sport has grown and helped us to be in the best shape of our lives. Though we have both competed and won medals, our main focus is lifestyle BJJ and enjoying the camaraderie of our fellow students. Kimura is a family.
Having said as much, we have had the opportunity to travel north and also train with our Boston Kimura family. Everyone was super welcoming! Marb, Andrea, Nikki…just to name a few, encouraged us to train and paired us up nicely. The women in Boston were kind and matched our level of technique and power. We love the Boston gym and look forward to training every time we wander north into the cold. 😂😉
